En Español Reaches 1,500 Books Donated!
Today, our team at En Español is celebrating a milestone that means so much more than a number: 1,500 bilingual books donated to children and families across our community.
This week, we completed new book deliveries to Rush Children's Hospital and Esther’s Friends, adding to a growing list of places where our stories, coloring books, and activity titles have found a home — places filled with children who deserve joy, comfort, and imagination.
Over the past few months, we’ve donated books across many different sites, including:
- Loyola Medical Center
- Edward Hospital
- Advocate Children's Hospital
- Elmwood Elementary School
- Riverwoods Elementary School
- Kingsley Elementary School
- Maplebrook Elementary School
- World Relief (Homework club)
- Baan Nokkamin Foundation
- Wat Thong Noppakhun School
Our mission for this initiative has always been simple:
Make bilingual learning joyful, accessible, and community-powered.
Thank you to every volunteer who has sorted books, every partner who has opened their doors to us, and every supporter who believes in the power of language, literacy, and representation.
