Leadership is so much more than just a position, it is a set of skills that are key to developing future success. Because of this, we have seen the need for a youth leadership academy to support our growing commununity of leaders. With programs for all age groups, there is something to explore for everyone!

For younger learners (6-12): We added a leadership component to each of our STEM classes. We have split our STEM programming into sessions of 10 weeks, where each week focuses on a specific leadership skill. After each class, we keep track of our students in their own personal journals, where they can reflect. Each class is free to attend, and attendance is not required for all of the 10 weeks, students just drop in whenever they want, but since each class is stand-alone, it can still provide a valuable experience for them.

Our Community Innovators Interview Series focuses on our students and volunteers. We talk to them about how STEM is important in their lives and the challenges and situations they have overcome in their lives. We want to inspire a love of science and innovation, as we believe STEM is one of the fields that can grow the most. We want to empower the future developers, innovators and scientists of tomorrow.
