From Book Donations to a Lasting Chapter: En Español Expands in Thailand

Last year, En Español began its work in Thailand by donating books to young readers. This year, that first initiative has grown into something larger: a locally led chapter built to create lasting educational opportunities for Thai children.

We are proud to welcome K. Pook, K. Ann, and K. Koy as En Español Thailand Ambassadors, as well as Tangte and Tete as Youth Volunteer Leaders. Together, they are building a new generation of community leaders who will guide our educational and service initiatives in Thailand.

To make our resources more culturally and linguistically accessible, En Español Press has published interactive educational books translated into Thai. We have now donated more than 100 books, giving children new opportunities to read, create, and learn in their own language.

We have also established new partnerships with Baan Nokkamin Foundation and Wat Thong Noppakhun, expanding our ability to serve children through book distributions, interactive learning experiences, and youth-led educational programming.

This growth represents more than the expansion of an organization. It reflects our belief that meaningful service should not end with a single donation—it should equip local leaders, honor the communities it serves, and build a foundation that can continue long into the future.

We are deeply grateful to our ambassadors, youth leaders, and community partners for transforming one project into a lasting movement for education, creativity, and youth leadership in Thailand.
